Davao del Sur Electric Cooperative, Inc. (DASURECO), a consistent Top Performing Electric Cooperative for many decades, proudly brought home multiple recognitions during the Joint NEA 2025 Lumens Awards and PHILRECA Awards from the Wires 2025, held on August 9, 2025 at the SMX Convention Center in Bacolod City.

 

From the NEA Lumens Awards, DASURECO was awarded the Top Performing Electric Cooperative, among other ECs nationwide cited for exemplary operational efficiency, service reliability, and strong community engagement. DASURECO’s excellence was further recognized with the Consistent Green EC Award for sustaining high performance across all operational standards, a recognition for High AGMA Attendance reflecting the active participation of its Member-Consumer-Owners, and the Single Digit Feeder Loss Award for maintaining excellent system efficiency and minimizing energy losses.

 

From the PHILRECA Awards from the Wires 2025, DASURECO received multiple distinctions: the Prompt Payor Award, Silver Stellar Award, The Lumina Zenith Award, Bright Beginning Award, Key Contributor Award, Occupational Safety and Health Excellence Award, and The Iron Pillar Award — each reflecting the cooperative’s excellence in financial responsibility, operational performance, industry contribution, and commitment to safety.

 

Representing DASURECO at the joint awards ceremony were General Manager Engr. Jerry D. Morastil, PEE, members of the Executive Committee, and members of the Board of Directors headed by Board President Atty. Glenn F. Solana, CPA, who accepted the honors on behalf of the cooperative.
