June 1, 2025 – As DASURECO marks its golden anniversary today, the cooperative looks back with gratitude and a renewed commitment to the communities it has served for five decades.
In the days leading up to this milestone celebration, DASURECO held a series of pre-anniversary activities that highlighted its core values of service, compassion, and community engagement. A Thanksgiving Mass was held at the Christ the King Chapel in DASURECO Hilltop, attended by employees, officers, and guests. The Mass served as a solemn occasion to honor the cooperative’s journey and to give thanks for 50 years of service and partnership with its member-consumer-owners.
Following the Mass, DASURECO conducted a gift-giving activity for its valued partner-beneficiaries — St. John Paul Seminary, Haven of Hope Orphanage, Bahay Pag-asa, and the Camillian Sisters’ Home for the Aged (Balay ni Maria Domenica). These outreach efforts aimed to share the joy of the cooperative’s golden anniversary with institutions that have long been part of its mission to uplift lives.
The 50th anniversary is commemorated under the theme: “DASURECO at 50: Illuminating Lives, Powering the Future.”
As the cooperative officially celebrates 50 years of powering progress, it extends its heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been part of its journey — from its founding incorporators to its present-day partners and member-consumer-owners. The celebration stands as a testament to DASURECO’s enduring legacy and shared commitment to rural development.
