TODAY| DASURECO successfully conducted its 42nd Annual General Membership Assembly (AGMA) at Baka Park, Brgy. Guihing, Hagonoy, Davao del Sur. The event saw the participation of 19,131 Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs) or 9.92% of the total membership.
The highlight of the event was a keynote address from National Electrification Administration (NEA) Administrator Antonio Mariano C. Almeda. Although unable to attend personally, Administrator Almeda conveyed his message of support for DASURECO through an audio-visual presentation. His Chief of Staff, Atty. Luis Francisco T. Almeda, was present to receive a plaque on his behalf.
Key local officials also graced the occasion, expressing their solidarity with DASURECO. District Representative of Davao del Sur Province, Congressman Hon. Atty. John Tracy F. Cagas and Hagonoy Mayor Jesus Jay Dureza, Jr. delivered messages of encouragement. Governor Franklin Bautista of Davao Occidental and mayors from different municipalities shared their messages via audio-visual presentations.
DASURECO Board Director Jeanette Sarno of Hagonoy District, who also serves as the EC’s treasurer, welcomed the attendees. The assembly showcased the strong partnership between DASURECO and local government units, with officials from various districts in attendance.
High-level support was also evident with the presence of key officials from the National Electrification Administration (NEA), including Atty. Gwen P. Enciso-Kyamko, Atty. Alexander Paul T. Rivera, Atty. Ivan Darwin Zamora, Project Supervisor Atty. Emil S. Cuyugan, and other NEA staff.
DASURECO’s Board of Directors, management, and employees were all committed to the assembly’s success, emphasizing the EC’s continued growth and improvement.
The event underscored DASURECO’s dedication to unity and progress, highlighting the collective efforts and shared vision of its MCOs. By providing a platform for MCOs to discuss and plan for the future, the assembly reinforced the EC’s commitment to service excellence and community development.
