Aid to calamity, one of DASURECO’s active response to affected MCOs

Director Al D. Castillon together with OIC GM Danny Canastra distributed ready-to-eat food packs to 200 individuals in Barangay Balutakay, Hagonoy.

DASURECO provided relief goods to hundreds of families in Digos and Hagonoy districts affected by flood on the night of June 28, 2020.

As mentioned by OIC General Manager Ferdinand D. Canastra during the relief operation in Barangay Balutakay, Hagonoy where 200 people received food packs, DASURECO is committed to provide prompt assistance to victims affected by flood. It has not been easy for them especially in the restoration of their homes, hence looking into the welfare of its member-consumer-owners is one of the EC’s role.

Additionally, DASURECO has extended its assistance through relief goods and ready-to-eat food packs distribution to 732 individuals and 185 families in the affected communities within Digos City and Hagonoy.

The DASURECO Warriors of Light together with the CDRRMC Staff

DASURECO employees, so called Warriors of Light, donated used clothing, bedding, home essentials, and other goods to affected families through the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (CDRRMC) for proper distribution.

Aid to calamity is one of DASURECO’s social responsibility programs along with the rationale of the One EC Network foundation which addresses the socio-economic-cultural programs to uplift the economic well-being of the EC’s member-consumer-owners (MCOs).###
